We got to see some really cool things come together at the end of 2007 primarily the major development of our hometown hero's Future Rock selling out their last two shows of the year in NYC and CHI. We are happy to welcome Chicago's newest act into our family of managed acts. VAN GHOST (featuring members of Trey Anastasio Band, Dearborn, Rana, Fareed Haque Group, Crackling Moth and others) Pulling from the such influences and Wilco, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, and the like. We have a 2008 kick off event with our old friend Jennifer Hartswick and the Debut of VAN GHOST to the world on Jan 25th at Metro. We hope to see you there! 03.07.07 Hey there folks! Spring is nearly upon us and so is another fresh season of raging 3D-MAS events. This spring we have a madhouse of electronica shows, a hip hop/funk/reggae 420 blowout, and a couple of rock throw-downs to be remembered for years to come. The 5 Year Anniversary Party for 3D-MAS will be at the Metro on March 23rd with the DEARBORN CD release event for "Always In Disguise." Sharing the bill is The Record Low, O'Neill and Wean, Buddy Nuisance, and Exit Clov. There will be a live fashion show presented by us and Glam Live set to live music and the event will be shot for a DVD release this summer. Future Rock will be celebrating their recent signing to Harmonized Records with a throw-down at The Abbey with special guests Johnny Rabb's BioDiesel featuring Bisco's Aron Magner and BP's Clay Parnell. Speaking of BP, anyone down for a two night run during the Green Apple Festival with them this April? Good because it's on. Juice and the Machine, Chicago's most up and coming funk/hip-hop group, is also that weekend. Either way it's good to be alive. Happy New Year to Chicago and the rest of the world. 2007 promises to be another year of incredible shows for 3D-MAS and the Chicago music scene. For the first part of the year we have shows with Juice and the Machine, Future Rock, Dearborn, Pnuma Trio, and Brothers Past. NBC licensed a Dearborn song for their hit show Kidnapped, Future Rock has been blowing up the whole electronic scene all over the country and yet we still have found time to set up some great shows for you all. The night was an amazing sold out event to remember. However moving forward to the Spring there are plenty of cool things on the horizon to keep us busy here in Chi-Town. Some local showcases, Q101 sponsored events, The Wednesday Affair at Tonic Room, and Particle w/ Brothers Past. Speaking of that... Did you hear that Scott Metzger of RANA joined Particle? This will be the first opportunity to see the new line up at the Abbey Pub. Things are good in Chi-Town as Winter slows down. We hope you all are rested and ready for a great middle of 2006! 01.18.06 Hello to everyone! Hopefully everyone is getting in the groove of 2006 nicely. We have some great events planned for 2006 so stay tuned for updates. If you notice that the website was down for a few days, it was because we we're hacked. Someone sent out 90K emails though our server so if you have gotten any unwanted emails from us we appologize and rest assured that we are working on solving the problem. 12.19.05 Well the year is almost over and it has been a great one! Thanks to all of you that have come out to our shows. Whether it was one or everyone, we noticed and appreciated it. Tune into your local WGN affiliate on Jan 5th to witness DEARBORN play on the morning show between 8-9 am. If you have work, school, or just don't feel like getting up that early... TiVo those goods! DEARBORN will be playing songs off their recently finished album "The Station" due out in late spring 2006! Our first show of the year is at the Metro and is 18+ so we hope to see tons of people out. We have reached a point in their career where we need to shed the skin of our past and move forward with the same passion and vigor that is going into their songwriting and development. DEARBORN has grown as people, musicians, songwriters, and performers. As well, they have encountered new opportunities and relationships that have come to fruition that make the group desire and necessitate a change. In this they found themselves at a junction where the band realized being DEARBORN is what they wanted to do with their life and that the name Punsapaya was not a proper title as to who they are, or who they are becoming. The name DEARBORN has Chicago reference and also represents "the Dear Born" people of our generation, those generations before us and those yet to come. This is in terms of some of the evil things and hate that we are born into living in this day and age as Americans and the like. Their new material is filled with some serious content about being part of today's world, as well as a few lighthearted catchy songs too. Look for a new site to launch in the coming weeks at the url - www.dearbornband.com 10.14.05 Tomorrow we leave for the Barn. The New Life is rearing to go and ready to be produced. Our agency is booming as fall and winter dates are coming together for all of our artists. Thanks for your continued support! 08.16.05 Exciting news from Punsapaya Camp and Sideways 8 Records... Punsapaya's The New Life album is scheduled to be recorded in The Barn in Burlington, VT (owned by Trey Anastasio of Phish). The album will be co-produced by the band, Sideways 8 Records and Pete Carini. Recording will start at the end of October and finish in early November. The new material is fresh and mature and we are REALLY excited about it. We cannot wait to share it with the world! 08.14.05 Welcome to the new and improved 3D-MAS website.
